NBUA ROOKIE OF THE YEAR (ROY) AWARD Criteria

• Member in Good Standing
• Has never worked for the NBUA in the past
• Minimal Turn Backs
• Completed minimum 75% of training
• Top 20% of the Apprentice Class (Peer Evaluation Composite Score)
• # of Games worked (minimum 40)
• Assists the Assignor when possible (Assigning Secretary input)
• No “Late to Games”
• Consistently exhibits the Values & the Code of Conduct components of the MSA
• Using the agreed criteria, the Awards Sub-Committee makes those recommendations to the BOD
• Upon completion of discussion from the BOD, the BOD approves that recommended official
• The ROY Award is announced at the Annual NBUA Banquet. Winner need not be present
• The agreed Criteria is shared on the Website (Policies/Procedures)
